Job Description
- We require the services of a Technical Sales Personnel to join their sales team.
- The ideal role holder will be responsible to formulate and develop sales strategies, inform potential and existing customers of company promotions, as well as preparing accurate sales and expense reports.
- The role holder will also be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities through customer referrals.
- The candidate should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.
- The candidate should be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and possess the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
Job Responsibilities
- Set and manage Sales goals
- Explain complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable
- Compile proposals and reports related to technical products
- Ensure that sales target are consistently met
- Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.
- Inform product developers of possible product improvements and changes to ensure that company products meet current market needs
- Find new clients and create a sales relationship
- Provide professional after-sales support
- Learn new product and services features and benefits
- Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
- Follow up on instructions and support the sales unit activities when requested by the CMO
- Create detailed Sales and business plan
- Issue periodic marketing write-ups and mail shots
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction
Person Specification
- Degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Business or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of sales or marketing experience in Corporate Sales Account Management with at least 3 years’ experience in selling IT solutions
- Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to identify and follow up on leads
- Proficient knowledge in MS office packages ( Excel, Word)
- Marketing professional qualification is an added advantage
- Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance.
