Job Description

  • We require the services of a Technical Sales Personnel to join their sales team.
  • The ideal role holder will be responsible to formulate and develop sales strategies, inform potential and existing customers of company promotions, as well as preparing accurate sales and expense reports.
  • The role holder will also be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities through customer referrals.
  • The candidate should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.
  • The candidate should be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and possess the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set and manage Sales goals
  • Explain complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable
  • Compile proposals and reports related to technical products
  • Ensure that sales target are consistently met
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.
  • Inform product developers of possible product improvements and changes to ensure that company products meet current market needs
  • Find new clients and create a sales relationship
  • Provide professional after-sales support
  • Learn new product and services features and benefits
  • Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
  • Follow up on instructions and support the sales unit activities when requested by the CMO
  • Create detailed Sales and business plan
  • Issue periodic marketing write-ups and mail shots
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction

Person Specification

  • Degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Business or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales or marketing experience in Corporate Sales Account Management with at least 3 years’ experience in selling IT solutions
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to identify and follow up on leads
  • Proficient knowledge in MS office packages ( Excel, Word)
  • Marketing professional qualification is an added advantage
  • Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance.
