We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Surveyor

Location: Nigeria (Project sites)
Department: Land Surveyor

Summary

• Responsible for determination of Position, establishment and monitoring of elevation of building structural elements including external works. It also involves monitoring for Mechanical and Electrical fittings on designated projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish Site referenced survey control system (or otherwise as it may apply to the project) and benchmarks
• Preliminary Site Mapping
• Setting out of Building outline and staking of Grid Lines for consultant confirmation
• Interpret project drawings
• Monitor horizontal and vertical structural elements of buildings
• Check and record survey instrument status and work quality measurements
• Interface with the site engineer
• Lead and designate activities to assigned survey assistants

Educational Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree / HND in Surveying & Geoinformatics Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' work experience with at least 3 years in construction industry
• Professional Qualification in Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) will be an added advantage.

• Survey procedure applications and methods
• Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Lateral and Logical Thinking
• Use of AutoCAD and MS packages.
