Job Title: Bank Reconciliation Officer

Job Description

• The Bank Reconciliation Officer will be responsible for reconciling transactions across the general ledger and subledgers together with other key accounts.
• In summary, s/he would be responsible for measuring and managing the transactions received to the company by their clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation of payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transaction.
• Daily reconciliation of bank statements.
• To provide support on the review and reconciliation of receipt.
• To prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Investigation and resolution of wrong posting, double receipting and other irregularities.
• And all other reconciliation matters or duties as assigned.
• Reviewing and gathering financial and statistical information.
• Supporting the month end process and generating month end reports.

Key Requirements

• Good First Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of 2 years Cognate experience as a Bank Reconciliation Officer or similar role.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Excellent team management skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and pay attention to details.

Compensation
N78,000 Net Monthly.
