A reputable Oil and Gas Haulage company in Lagos urgently requires the services of a competent, highly resourceful and qualified candidate for:
Job Title: Fleet Manager
Location: Lagos
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managing the operations and Maintenance of the company's fleet as assigned.
- Assume responsibility for the planning, scheduling, maintenance and management of 30 trucks and drivers to achieve seamless operations in the haulage business of the organization.
- Developing and implementing fleet preventive maintenance programs.
- Monitoring and tracking of trucks from the day of dispatch to destination of deliveries and return to base and generating required reports.
- Supervise fleet and ensuring that truck drivers adhere to schedule and route destination of trucks on the highway.
- Planning of daily activities of transport operations and ensuring safe delivery of goods.
- Develop and analyze productivity and operational reports.
- Overseeing company's compliance and reporting as it relates to the fleet.
Qualification / Experience:
- A first degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Polytechnic.
- A master degree/MBA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5-10 years experience with 3 years cognate experience in this role.
- Ability to direct and evaluate drivers in the accomplishment of goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate ability to manage priorities and workload.
- Proven time management and administrative skills
- Effective oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
