Job Summary

• The store manager is responsible for the overall strategic, operational and financial management of the store.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Track and implement financial quotas for the store and staff based on the stated financial goals of the business.
• Manage store inventory.
• Carry out variance analysis of inflow and outflow of product.
• Manages the product distribution chain of all product.
• Accounts for items in storage.
• The Store Manager will regularly review the daily weekly and quarterly financial data of the store to ensure the store and staff are meeting their financial quotas.
• Prepares annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.
• Ensures availability of merchandise and services by maintaining inventories.
• Maintain inventory by implementing purchasing plans and staying in contact with vendors and shippers.
• Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable.
• Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.
• Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales.
• Analyze and interpret trends to facilitate planning.
• Ensure minimum obsolescence of materials/FIFO/FEFO.
• Maintains daily stock report and forward report appropriately

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree  in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or any Social Science related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in sales/store/inventory/supply chain management.
• Relevant professional certification in supply chain is desirable.
