We are currently seeking motivated and excellence-driven candidates with extensive experience in design to join our engineering team in the position below:

Job Title: Intermediate Piping Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Job Purpose

• Preparation of assigned Piping deliverables by lead and senior engineer
• To assist Piping lead in supervising Junior engineers and drafters.

Main Functions

• Development of piping layout design of systems (Pipe rack, Flare system, Firewater, drain etc)
• Performing pipe stress analysis
• Performing pipe wall thichness calculation
• Assisting with preparation of Piping 3D model and drawings (Plot plan, Equipment Layout, PGA)
• Prepare valve and SP-item datasheets
• Prepare piping RFQ
• Prepare Tie-in list, Valve list and specialty item list
• Prepare piping study reports as required
• Support junior engineers and designers in their duties
• Perform other duties as may be directed by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 to 8 years experience in piping engineering design of oil and gas facilities
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to design and construction of oil and gas production/processing facilities including and Client standards.
• Registered professional engineer.

Essential Skiils:

• Proficient in working with Caesar and PDMS
• Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS Office Suite
• Problem aware and solution oriented
• Good Interpersonal skills and strong team player
• Aware of safety in design.
