Job Title: Maintenance Superintendent

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Manage reactive maintenance.
• Manage planned maintenance tasks and programs.
• Management of local staff, including training.
• Scheduling of tasks.
• Prepare scopes for tenders and attending project meetings.
• Technical evaluation of tender returns.
• Monthly and yearly reporting.
• Ensures company standards and policies are adhered too.
• Liaises & support other functional areas of the business.
• Identification and implementation of other PPM tasks.
• Production of tasking instructions.
• Schedules shifts for directly employed labour, both for normal and standby periods.
• Mentor local staff and provide on-the-job guidance.
• Identify materials required for tasks.
• Identification of critical spare parts for equipment.
• Follow SHEQ policies and procedures.
• Periodic training for maintenance supervisors
• Monitor contractor’s progress and standard of work.
• Liaise with all department and the various contractors.
• Track the progress of works and the MDQA.
• Assist in the general development of the department.
• Administrative tasks such as leave schedule, training schedule, attendance monitoring etc.
• Any other responsibility that may be assigned by your line manager.

Education and Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering in an oil and gas, construction or related environment.
• Beneficial
• IOSH Safety in construction management
• CSCS Card
• First Aid (3-day course)

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years work experience in the Facilities Management/Maintenance industry, preferable maintenance.
• Previous experience working in Nigeria or West Africa will be an added advantage.

Salary
N330,000 monthly.
