Job Title: Director, Clinical Services

Job Description
- The Director, Clinical Services will be responsible for technical/clinical care and management aspects of current and future program activities.
- H/She will oversee a team of managers providing technical support in capacity building, clinical service delivery of HIV care and treatment at the central office to supported facilities providing HIV/AIDS care and treatment services that are consistent with the national HIV/AIDS plan in Nigeria.
- Will work with peers to design and develop sound program and project proposals in current sectors, and develop new sectors, where appropriate.
- Supervise sector managers (MCH, HIV/AIDS, RH, etc) and provide assistance to successfully implement current programs, ensure consistency with strategic and annual plans, and further develop and integrate these sectors where appropriate.
- Help guide the development or refinement of materials related to HIV/AIDS care and treatment, including research, guidelines, protocols, algorithms, training materials and monitoring and evaluation tools.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
- A degree in medicine and postgraduate degree in public health. In addition, the post holder must possess 12 years' post NYSC experience of running/implementing public health programs preferably in the NGO context.
- A very good understanding and working knowledge of the health and HIV program priorities; Substantial experience and knowledge of effective financial and budgetary control and securing and managing grants (e.g., USAID, CDC/PEPFAR and other grant funders).
- Previous experience of managing and developing a team and the ability to lead, motivate and develop others; can manage larger-scale teams, develop individual skills and abilities, while driving teams to meet or exceed targets & goals.

- The positions require candidates that are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, computer applications and Internet/ Emails.
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Significant amount of travel may be involved for the positions.
- Commitment to and understanding of organization’s vision values and principles including rights-based/gender approaches would be expected.
