Job Title: Senior Information Technology Associate
Location: Abuja
Job Description
- Incumbent will support the IT team to ensure delivery of IT services and appropriate technology enabled solutions. Support the implementation of major systems improvements; assist with disparate tasks for projects involving innovative applications and different systems including databases.
- Provide technical support in a changing environment and the implications of various alternatives, as well as on business applications and other related issues. Identify and plan for future needs; develop and disseminate best practices
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- At least 4 years' post NYSC experience in a reputable organization.
- Knowledge of system development methods used for the development of new systems and enhancements to existing information systems.
- Knowledge of the concepts and basic operating principles of data communications and information systems hardware and software.
- Knowledge of computer monitoring systems, vendor-supplied packaged programs, macros, utilities, and other highly technical programs.
Requirement:
- The positions require candidates that are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, computer applications and Internet/ Emails.
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Significant amount of travel may be involved for the positions.
- Commitment to and understanding of organization’s vision values and principles including rights-based/gender approaches would be expected.
