A leading and reputable indigenous Non-Governmental Organization implementing a comprehensive family- focused HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment in partnership with the different tiers of the Government of Nigeria at national, state, local and site levels. In line with the broadened scope and objectives of our work, the need for increased staff capacity around new and enlarged areas of focus have emerged. We therefore requires the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals for the vacant position of:

Job Title: Senior Information Technology Associate

Job Description
  • Incumbent will support the IT team to ensure delivery of IT services and appropriate technology enabled solutions. Support the implementation of major systems improvements; assist with disparate tasks for projects involving innovative applications and different systems including databases.
  • Provide technical support in a changing environment and the implications of various alternatives, as well as on business applications and other related issues. Identify and plan for future needs; develop and disseminate best practices
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 4 years' post NYSC experience in a reputable organization.
  • Knowledge of system development methods used for the development of new systems and enhancements to existing information systems.
  • Knowledge of the concepts and basic operating principles of data communications and information systems hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of computer monitoring systems, vendor-supplied packaged programs, macros, utilities, and other highly technical programs.
Requirement:
  • The positions require candidates that are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, computer applications and Internet/ Emails.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Significant amount of travel may be involved for the positions.
  • Commitment to and understanding of organization’s vision values and principles including rights-based/gender approaches would be expected.
