A leading and reputable indigenous Non-Governmental Organization implementing a comprehensive family- focused HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment in partnership with the different tiers of the Government of Nigeria at national, state, local and site levels. In line with the broadened scope and objectives of our work, the need for increased staff capacity around new and enlarged areas of focus have emerged. We therefore requires the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals for the vacant position of:

Job Title: Administrative Associate

Job Description
  • Incumbent is responsible for general administrative related functions expected within the central office.
  • Support the coordination of logistics, including transportation and lodging arrangements, for meetings, workshops, conferences, and short-term personnel.
  • Support purchases of office supplies, as well as general office operations and maintenance where necessary.
  • Monitors the performance of all contracts entered into for the provision of services, goods and works of the field office.
  • Ensure that the information in the fixed asset register accurately reflects the information per the financial system.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
  • First degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or any other Social Sciences.
  • At least 2 years work experience in an accounting role preferably in International NGO setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision. Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook required.
  • Independent judgment and discretion in completing assignments, seeking approval as appropriate.
Requirement:
  • The positions require candidates that are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, computer applications and Internet/ Emails.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Significant amount of travel may be involved for the positions.
  • Commitment to and understanding of organization’s vision values and principles including rights-based/gender approaches would be expected.
