IITA is looking for a suitably qualified person to fill the position of:

Job Title: Field Worker II

Location:
Ibadan, Oyo State

Job Description:
  • Maintain experimental field and screen house trials to screen for drought tolerance and activities related to determination of drought tolerance mechanism in rice;
  • Help in the establishment of trials;
  • Follow up experimental trials;
  • Collect and compile data obtained from different experimental trials;
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
WASC plus at least two (2) years relevant experience in field management.

Skills & Abilities:

The ideal candidate must:
  • Be knowledgeable on data collection and recording of data;
  • Have good communication skills;
  • Have the ability to work under pressure.
