Job Title: Accountant
Location: Abuja
Job Description
- Initially, this position will be based at the head office, located in Abuja, with program activities expected to be coated out in the North Eastern states. Travel is expected.
- The incumbent is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyzing financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in accounting is required.
- Proficiency at using Microsoft office software: MS Ward, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook, etc. is required.
- Experience with computerized accounting systems is required.
- Strong analytical skills ore required.
- Multi-tasking with positive attitude is required.
- Experience of working ma conflict environment is a plus.
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
- Fluency in one or more of the local state languages in the North-Eastern port of Nigeria is required.
