Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector who will be responsible for Quality control and is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the company’s products meet both internal and external requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect output samples by comparing to standard sample and/or quality control manual
• Check that the production line adheres to standards and procedures
• Review customer or order specifications and compare to produced goods
• Record inspection results and communicate results to the Operations Manager
• Train the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
• Highlight areas that consistently fail quality inspections and bring to the attention of the Production manager
• Propose improvements to the production process
• Ensure all goods coming out of the factory are rigorously inspected for quality and quantity
• Manage the process of returning failed goods to production
• Be responsible for the failure of quality passed garments

Required Skills and Qualifications

• OND / HND in Fashion Design or equivalent certification
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in the industry
• Good sewing skills will be an advantage
• Good understanding of garment production processes and techniques
• Good work ethics
• Have a good understanding of quality standards in garment production
• Know techniques, performance enhancement tools to be deployed in production to attain
• Must be organized, detailed and thorough.
