National Democratic Institute (NDI), an International Non-Governmental Organization located in Abuja is seeking to employ a suitable and qualified candidate for the position of:
Job Title: Driver
Location: Abuja
Contract Durations: Six (06) months
Working Languages: English
Data of assumption of duty: October 2014
Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Operations Managers the drive will carefully and responsibly drive an official vehicle to various locations in Abuja, and on some occasions to other cities in Nigeria.
Qualification
- Completion of Secondary School Education.
- Minimum of (2) year previous experience as a driver.
- Fluent in English (good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/ Writing.
- Knowledge of the host country traffic laws and regulations, geography of Abuja city and country in general.
- A previous experience at working with a USAID or donor funded project will be an added advantage.
- Experience in automotive operation safety and maintenance practices.
- Must have a valid Nigerian driven license
- Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
