Job Title: Designer / Sales Representative

Job Description

• We are seeking a Sales Designer to help us develop displays for our store. In this position, you will work with other merchandisers to select which pieces should go into the display, primarily based on what products we are planning to promote.
• However, you will also take customer behavior and aesthetics into consideration when designing these displays.
• Our ideal applicant has a bachelor's degree in interior design or a relevant marketing field and several years of retail experience.
• You also need to have strong collaboration skills, as these projects often involve working with multiple departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with merchandisers and sales leads to determine what products to use
• Design a floor plan for the display that features important products
• Oversee the building and arrangement of the display
• Observe how the display affects sales and customer behavior, adjusting as necessary
• Update displays when new products arrive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Marketing with 3 - 7 years work experience.
• Retail experience
• Knowledge of customer psychology
• Strong collaboration and analytical skills.
