Nosprom Consult - Our client, an Occupational Therapy company in Lekki, Lagos State, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Slot: 2 Openings

Job Responsibilities

• Interview patients and their families for information on health status and medical history
• Assist medical and health professionals to examine and treat patients, including measuring and recording vital signs, and performing routine clinical duties
• Get patients ready for treatment, including explaining procedures
• Prepare and handle medical instruments, equipment and supplies, including sterilizing equipment and disposing of contaminated supplies in accordance with safety procedures
• Provide information to patients and families on health care topics and program prescribed by a medical & health professional
• Maintain cleanliness of patient, treatment area, waiting and examination rooms
• Record information on patients' medical history, and other information in medical record-keeping systems
• Schedule appointments with patients, and prepare documentation

Qualifications

• OND or equivalent
• Happy working with children and adults.
