Discovering Talents Academy uses the Blended Nigeria-Montessori curriculum in Early Years and a Blended Nigeria-British curriculum at the primary level.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Department, Mathematics

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• To lead and inspire the learning and teaching in the School.
• To teach the students mathematical works.
• To lead and co-ordinate the work of the department.
• To develop a department development plan that supports and helps deliver the school academic development plan.
• To prepare the student for examination such as entrance exam
• To assume responsibility for the ordering, maintenance, safety and development of departmental resources.
• To devise and maintain department policies.
• Monitoring the quality of learning, teaching, marking and record-keeping.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Not less than 10 years experience in which 5 years are in a similar position (In Mathematics Schools) is a MUST.
• Knowledge of the different primary subjects.
• Knowledge of general and subject-specific teaching skills and strategies.
• Several years of teaching experience.

Salary

• N80,000 - N120,000 monthly.
