Job Title: Sales Accounts Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking to employ a sales-driven and customer-oriented sales officer to oversee our sales team and determine the most effective solutions to increase company sales. 
  • The sales officer's responsibilities include recommending improvements to current sales strategies, informing potential and existing customers of company promotions, as well as preparing accurate sales and expense reports. 
  • You should also be able to continually identify new sales opportunities through customer referrals.

General Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create detailed sales business plans
  • Set and manage sales goals and quotas
  • Manage the entire sales cycle
  • Assist in finding prospects and leads
  • Identify new sales opportunities
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Identify opportunities to up-see and cross-sell
  • Provide customer support when needed
  • Learn new product and services features and benefits
  • Provide professional after-sales support
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer successand satisfaction
  • Prepare and present reports on KPIs.
  • Follow up on instructions by the Director of Sales and as may be needed by the Operations Director and MD
  • Issue periodic marketing write ups and mail shots
  • Participate in site surveys where needed
  • Submit an annual business plan and weekly reports to Director of Sales
  • Manage debt collection for his/her accounts
  • Assist and support in road shows and other marketing events
  • Maintain updated customers list
  • Working as a team player with all relevant company’sunits and staff.
  • Support the sales unit activities when requested by the Directors of sales and operations and MD.
  • Meet sales targets–Monthly, quarterly, and yearly.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field from a recognized University.
  • Marketing professional qualification.
  • Proficiency

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years verifiable working experience in corporate Sales account Management performing similar tasks as mentioned above.
  • Must have experience in selling systems.
  • Have a proven track record selling security solutions in Nigeria in both public and private sectors.
  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience in selling Security solutions, (experience expanding to the region will be an added advantage).
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good knowledge of CRM software.
