Chukolo is an online platform that connects buyers to sellers of services. We also regulate the job process to ensure projects are done in a timely and efficient manner to exceed expectations.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Javascript Tutor

Location: Jos, Plateau

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
• Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.
• Organize supplies and resources for lectures and presentations.
• Deliver personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning.
• Upload your materials to the platform we use for the online learning.
• Plan and implement educational activities and events.
• Ensure your classroom is clean and orderly.
• Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports and semester report cards.
• Evaluate and document students’ progress.
• Allocate and grade homework, assignments, and tests.
• Assist in research, development, improving the learning standard of the Chukolo community.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years experience in web technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Knowledgeable of JavaScript with a good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
• Full-stack web development experience.
• Experience with a responsive design for desktop/mobile.
• Extensive HTML / CSS / AJAX / Javascript (jQuery, Backbone/Angular/Ember) coding experience.
• Experience with other JavaScript libraries like ExtJS, Backbone.js.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
