We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Finance Officer (Intern)

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Project Finance Officer role is for intern interested in developing their career and skills in finance/accounting. The least  educational qualification required are ND/HND or NYSC corper
• Prepare vouchers of payment, receipt and journals relating to cash transactions against approved bills/invoices in relation to the project.
• Ensure all journals, payment vouchers, receipts are promptly keyed in/entered into the system (SUN)
• Ensure proper process documentation of all financial transaction
• Ensure proper filing of finance related documentation
• Assess the partner financial reports of partners and process reimbursements/payments.
• Verify the partners’ project expenses against approved budget and protocol
• Ensure compliance organizational policy in regards advances for project related visits
• Prepare petty cash voucher and enter into GAS system
• Ensure all supporting documentation are available with voucher before payment as per donor & organizational compliance
• Checking the correctness of retirements of travel advances/impress and ensuring that they are well supported for further authorizations
• Arrange timely fund disbursement to the partner organization
• Ensure process and policy has been followed in regards to procurement regarding assigned project
• Undertake other general finance duties as required to facilitate the smooth running of accounting and project finance activities. 2 30 % Working with partners
• Participate in the due diligence process with other colleague

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND / ND in any discipline or NYSC member.
• Must have 0-1 year experience in a similar role.
• Must be resident within Ajah axis
