Description

• Our Client is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support the Head, Chef on Kitchen affairs.

Responsibilities
The Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Keeps all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, cookers, walls) clean and always sanitised
• Sweeps and mops floor daily
• Cleans up spills to avoid hindering operations
• Washes cookware, utensils, and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation
• Arranges equipment and ingredient deliveries
• Keeps the food and supply storage areas organised
• Takes out garbage
• Assists Manager with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed
• Packages clients order and makes sure it is good to be delivered before handing over to the Head, Chef for final check
• Handles other tasks as assigned by manager

Requirements

• OND in any field
• A fast learner with an interest in kitchen work
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety rules
• Good organisational skills
• The ability to work without supervision
• Basic cooking skills
• Should be courteous
