Job Title: Web Developer / Web Admin
Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- The job is responsible for building, managing, and updating all company websites, web applications, and all E-Commerce-related projects for SKLD.
- Performs regular maintenance of all websites, including backups, plugin updates, site speed improvements, and host uptime monitoring
- Runs daily checks on website security updates.
- Quality-test and troubleshoots the website and/or its applications in various browsers
- Proactively prevents errors & resolve reported issues
- Identifies problems and deficiencies and implements solutions in a timely manner
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Builds exceptional websites using different frameworks and modules. Build webpages, microsites, and landing pages within WordPress CMS
- Optimizes web page for conversion and user engagement
- Stay up to date on Web developments and trends
- Makes recommendations and execute website improvements for lead generation and customer experience purposes
- Monitors Web page payment functionality to record zero downtime.
- Produces high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
- Utilises effective SEO/SEM techniques to maximize search engine traffic
- Collaborates with creative and marketing teams to produce engaging, relevant content
- Conducts digital retouching, image editing, Product and price edit.
- Monitors and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings
- Stay up to date with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and development
- Designs and implements database in accordance to end users’ information needs and views
- Minimises database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy,S and integrity
- Monitors database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of Higher National Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in any relevant course.
- A certification in the database (SQL, Mongo dB, cloud), web development, software engineering, or Google tools is an added advantage.
- Between 2 and 3 years in a similar role.
