SPNS Consulting commenced business operations in 2003 as a financial and management consulting firm with the name Savvy Consulting. SPNS Consulting is wholly owned by its management team and members of staff. In September 2004, the management team decided to place special focus on three inter related business lines directing its core focus on Business Process Design & Management, Corporate Strategy Development, Training and Human Capital Development.

SPNS Consulting is recruiting to fill the below position:

Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
  • Conducting investigations as directed by the management on employee conduct and suitability.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Maintains company staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and also maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Designs training strategy for the company
Qualifications & Skills
  • HND / B.Sc / M.Sc in Human Resources, Business Administration, any relevant discipline
  • Must be above 30 years of age
Professional Qualification:
  • CIPM, NIM, and any relevant certification
Minimum Relevant Work Experience:
  • 5 years experience in Human Resources Management, Benefits Administration, Performance Management
