We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Treasury Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• To ensure efficient day-to-day treasury operations and be responsible for Cash Management, FX dealing, Cash forecasting and Treasury Projects.
• To create a strong, long-term financial strategy. This will include making investments on the company’s behalf, dealing with banks and financial institutions, or updating company policies.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the business to minimize financial risk
• Forecasting short- and long-term cash requirements to support daily operations and overall business needs
• Timely reporting of daily cash position and all treasury activities to senior management
• Analyzing and performing appropriate hedging and funding activities (Forex, loans, deposits, etc.)
• Manage borrowings, letters of credit or other forms of corporate guarantees
• Evaluate the fiscal decisions of the company and make recommendations for course of action
• Cash and liquidity management through cash flow planning and forecasting
• Managing treasury operations and controls (cash pooling/sweeping, forex hedging etc.)
• Oversee banking operations, relationships, identity and implement banking related change
• To produce medium term financial strategy and budget monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is preferred, MBA, CFA, CTP, and/or CPA is a plus
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience banking/treasury management experience required.

Skills / Knowledge:

• Strong analytical, inter-personal, and communication skills
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Strong commercial and business acumen.
