Job Title: PHP / Laravel Developer
Location: Lekki / Ajah
Description
- They are seeking to hire a top-notch Laravel developer who will build web applications for the company.
- In this role, you will design and create projects using Laravel framework and PHP, and assist the team in delivering high-quality web applications, services, and tools for the business.
Responsibilities
- Maintain our in-house PHP/Laravel application.
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API.
- Convey effectively all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
Competency / Skill / Requirements
- BSc / MSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar relevant field.
- Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for 3 years.
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5.6 and above.
- Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design
- Creative and efficient problem solver.
- Proficiency in other programming languages.
- Experience in using HTML, CSS, JQuery.
- Experience in integrating payment solutions (Flutterwave).
- Experience consuming third-party APIs.
- Experience with version control (git, Github).
