Diva Cakes is a growing business cooncern with interest in Confectionery and related Food & Beverage products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier

Locations: Egbeda, Surulere, Opebi, Bariga, Lekki, Yaba - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Overall Purpose

• To oversee the day to day cash management of the branch as it affects payment receipt, invoicing, banking, float maintenance and marketing aimed at achieving company’s revenue and profit growth objective.

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensure proper confirmation of all payments (Cash, POS And Bank Transfer) and accurately issue invoices and receipts to all customers.
• Ensure DAILY and EARLY banking of all cash receipts except on off banking days. Also ensure proper documentation of cash movement through proper maintenance of bank lodgment book.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the outlet’s Imprest system, daily reconciliation of it both in the manual imprest book and the system (Iclass) and weekly retirement to ensure smooth operation of the outlet. Also ensure DAILY accurate posting of expenses to the system by choosing the correct expense cost centers.
• Work with the Outlet Manager to ensure all customer’s outstanding payments are collected before products are cleared.
• Ensure minimal errors are committed during invoicing and receipting and where they occur, liaise with the Finance Manager for prompt correction.
• Work with the outlet manager to ensure daily and monthly stock count is done and reported to the Finance Manager.
• Carry out any other assignment that is assigned to you by the Company.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• 0 - 1 year work experience.

Salary
N50,000 - N60,000 monthly
