Job Title: Project Administrator
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Description:
The project administrator is responsible for coordinating and managing multiple projects simultaneously from initiation to project closure.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and meet customer expectations
- Continuously provide status updates to stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Assist in the creation of project plans, status reports, and change request / approval forms.
- Monitor resource availability and ensure resources are being utilized effectively to meet internal operational goals.
- Coordinate and schedule the resources necessary to complete the work.
- Schedule and run both the internal and external kick off meetings.
- Ensure that daily status reports are completed for projects being managed.
- Raise any issues or concerns around project activities so they can be immediately addressed.
- Manage the project board in our internal project management system to ensure the project status is accurate.
- Ensure timing of product delivery with the project schedule.
- Monitor out of scope work and ensure customer / stakeholders are made aware of predicted scope changes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum Education level – Bachelor's degree.
- Candidate must possess between 3-5 years’ work experience.
- People and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management training a plus.
- IT industry experience a plus.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Ability to work under very tight deadlines.
- Time management abilities.
- Problem solving skills.
- Self-confidence.
- Working under pressure.
