Job Title: Chief Sales Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Chief Sales Officer will manage all aspects of the sales and Business Development process including prospecting, lead management, qualification, customer evaluation, and closing new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within an assigned territory and accounts.
  • Develop and execute the strategic plan by collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base,
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships then partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations then negotiate and close deals on behalf of the company.
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends and gather feedback to be shared with your team.
  • Frequently create reports and reviews of sales and financial data.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of Sales and Business Development Experience in the Entertainment or media sector
  • B.Sc / M.Sc in Business Administration or related field.
  • Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Previous experience as a sales officer, sales associate, or sales and marketing associate.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services in a full-service media, advertising, and entertainment outfit.
  • Proven ability to position products and services against competitors.
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions/
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
