We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Consultant

Location: Kwara / Niger 
Employment Tyle: Short Term  
Reports  to: Associate Director / State team Lead.

Project Description

  • The Accelerated Control of HIV Epidemic in Nigeria (ACE) Cluster 4-  is a newly awarded five-year agreement by USAID which commenced 28th February 2022 is implemented by Center for Clinical Care and Research Nigeria.
  • The project will ensure that a comprehensive HIV Care and Treatment service across Niger / Kwara States. 
  • We seek the service of consultants based in Kwara and Niger and for a 20-day period, renewable if necessary

Scope of Work

  • Conduct health facility and health systems assessment
  • Provide mentorship and supportive supervision for service delivery in ART centers
  • Support strategic information and data management for ART in health facilities
  • Support laboratory services in health facilities providing HIV services 
  • Support pharmacy, commodity security, and differentiated HIV service delivery in health facilities

Qualification and Skills

  • Relevant Medical Degree or MPH with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in implementing HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment programs.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field, such as Health System Management, Social Administration, or Social Sciences.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and/or implementing integrated HIV/AIDS/TB prevention, care, and treatment with HSS programming on PEPFAR funded programs.
  • Relevant experience working in the same capacity with a USG IP.    
  • Ability to resume within 1 week of advert closure would be required.

Language:

  • Excellent English language oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English required, with a fluency of the local languages in Kwara / Niger State

  • Reporting line: To the Associate Director /State team Lead.
