Azbir Hotels, one of the leading hospitality brands and a 5 star Hotel Facility is currently expanding her operations in Birnin Kebbi. In line with this, we are currently employing qualified hospitality staff to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant / Pantryman

Location: Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi
Reports to: Executive Chef

Job Summary

• Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory control.
• Ensure the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
• Sorting, storing and distribution of cooking ingredients.
• Washing utensils and dishes; while ensuring they are properly handled and stored appropriately.
• Carrying out every other duty assigned by the chef.

Qualifications and Experience

• OND, HND or B.Sc in any related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of employment in a related position, hotel experience preferred
• Functional skills and competency requirement
• Working knowledge of cooking skills and techniques, with experience in the said role.
• Strong ability to listen and learn fast.
• Energetic and active personnel with the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicants must be flexible with time and be available to work at any given time.
