Azbir Hotels, one of the leading hospitality brands and a 5 star Hotel Facility is currently expanding her operations in Birnin Kebbi. In line with this, we are currently employing qualified hospitality staff to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Birnin, Kebbi
Reports to: Operation Manager
Supervises: Security Supervisors, Security Guards

Job Summary

  • The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.
  • Protection of life and properties of the company and daily report of security situation and intelligent gathering concerning the company at large.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic security protocols and procedures.
  • Provide strategic vision and direction in security aspects of an organization.
  • Develop policies and protocols for securing and protecting sensitive information.
  • Hire and recruit the best talent in building up the security of an organization.
  • Coordinate cross team functional in maintaining vigilance and security of an organization.
  • Develop logistics to protect intellectual property, copyrights and other related risks.
  • Develop and initiate procedures to protect company's fixed assets.

Qualification and Experience

  • A First Degree or its equivalent in Sociology and any other related discipline in the Humanities or Social Sciences.
  • Must be an ex-service personnel
  • Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience with at least 8 years' experience at managerial level
  • Previous working experience in any military or paramilitary with a minimum rank of inspector equivalent, minimum of national diploma in security or related management courses
  • Functional skills and competency requirement
  • Must have experience in security risk management in line with international best practices
  • A retired member of the force (Nigeria Military, Nigeria Air Force, Nigeria Navy & Nigeria Police Force etc.).
  • Experience in incident reporting, incident mapping, intelligence collation, and analysis, as well as security assessments and reporting, liaising with established security agencies such as the nigerian police, nigeria security, and civil defense corps, etc.
  • Ability to present data, and give insights to guide decision making,
  • Must be creative with strong execution and negotiation skills.
