Azbir Hotels, one of the leading hospitality brands and a 5 star Hotel Facility is currently expanding her operations in Birnin Kebbi. In line with this, we are currently employing qualified hospitality staff to fill the position below:

Job Title: Security Supervisor

Location: Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi
Reports To: Chief Security Officer
Supervises: Security Guard

Job Summary

• The Security Supervisor will monitor and assess security conditions and makes recommendations to the chief security officer as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring security service at the hotel
• Investigate and manage infractions/incidents at the hotel
• Audit of physical and electronic security systems at the hotel
• Contribute to continuous improvement with the aim to enhance productivity, profitability and customer service
• Screen visitors before allowing them to enter into the premises.
• Keep the premises free from all kinds of dangers.
• Develop and implement preventative measures against accidents, thefts and other risks.
• Evaluate, assess and analyze performance of security personnel.
• Update required daily, weekly and monthly reports and highlight trends for management information and status of corrective actions
• Follow up to ensure proper close-out on corrective actions in all identified gaps
• Assist the security services manager to plan, prepare and to execute security management strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc. Degree in Sociology, Criminology or any related field
• Minimum of 3 Years of experience in a similar capacity
• Knowledge of industrial and corporate security management.

Functional Skills and Competency Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the hospitality industry.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of applicable security systems.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
