Azbir Hotels, one of the leading hospitality brands and a 5 star Hotel Facility is currently expanding her operations in Birnin Kebbi. In line with this, we are currently employing qualified hospitality staff to fill the position below:

Job Title: Handyman

Location: Birnin, Kebbi
Reports to: Head General Maintenance
Supervises: Technician, Plumber, Electrician, Gardener

Job Summary

• Conducts basic maintenance on various businesses. The main duties include repairing plumbing systems, fixing company equipment or tools and testing various company appliances to ensure they work properly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs in community areas, including lights and laundry.
• Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
• Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.
• Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed.
• Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building.
• Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility.
• Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.

Qualification and Experience

• OND, HND or B.Sc. in any related field.
• A minimum of 3 year work experience as a handyman with a reputable hotel brand.

Functional Skills and Competency Requirement:

• Ability to safely use common power and hand tools
• HVAC knowledge and repair skills
• Experience installing and replacing plumbing systems
• Strong communication skills with property management and tenants
• Self-starter with good time management skills
