Azbir Hotels, one of the leading hospitality brands and a 5 star Hotel Facility is currently expanding her operations in Birnin Kebbi. In line with this, we are currently employing qualified hospitality staff to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cash Attendant

Location: Birnin, Kebbi
Reports to: Head Admin Accountant

Job Summary

• A versatile, intelligent and energetic restaurant cashiers with passion for delivering outstanding service to join our professional and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all the cash transactions
• Maintaining daily account of the daily transactions
• Balancing the daily account at the end of each day
• Checking the daily cash balance
• Interacting with the customers that come to the counter and solving all their cash related queries
• Reporting discrepancies they find within the accounts to their superiors
• Making daily, weekly and monthly transaction reports
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all opening, closing, and intermediate transactions
• Accept and confirm customers' payments
• Inform customers of the organization's cash policies and procedures
• Handle product returns and exchanges in accordance with established procedures; note condition of returned goods and, if necessary, adjust repayment according to return guidelines.

Qualification and Experience

• B.Sc. in any related field.
• 2 - 3 years previous work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales

Functional Skills and Competency Requirement:

• Previous work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and pos
• Good math skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented.
