We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: People Coordinator

Location: Nigeria

What You Will Be Doing

  • Management of the People inbox, being the first line of response or escalating as required
  • Work in partnership with the People & Culture teams, providing information to support the scheduling of all Wellness and Learning and Development Initiatives
  • Support the scheduling of all onboarding for all new employees, including ensuring all data is captured, all necessary documents are executed, invites and employee is welcomed appropriately
  • Support the offboarding process for leavers, ensuring all necessary documents are executed, and that equipment and information is returned appropriately
  • Ownership of the organization charts, ensuring these are updated with changes that have been announced to the business
  • Ensure all invoicing and payments from Vendors that the People Team used are paid on time 
  • Support with the company’s wellbeing initiatives, including setting up and sending the Pulse Check and collating materials to share with the business on a regular basis
  • Coordination of all Chipping in with me series across the businesses
  • Help identify ideal locations for offsites and Chipper Chillers 
  • Owning the annual People calendar which notes important events, cultural observations, public holidays and awareness dates for our locations and working with members of the People & Culture Team, EDI Committee and other relevant stakeholders to communicate these to staff across channels including Perkbox, Deputy and internal communications
  • Managing SWAG for anniversaries, babies, weddings and recognition program  
  • Own and update the People & Culture Team Meeting Agenda for the weekly meetings, including adding items to ensure the document is up to date, collaborating with HR Team members to ensure all sections are up to date ahead of the team meeting

What You Should Have

  • Great organizational skills  with a strong attention to detail and respect for accurate information
  • Self-starter with an ambitious spirit, initiative, willing to multi-task resourcefully and work independently
  • Professional outlook with excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Ability to manage relationships with third parties, interacting effectively with colleagues and external contractors
  • Ability to work on short timelines and in an agile changing environment
  • Passionate about working in a people first environment
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel (or G-Suite equivalent)
  • Pleasant and calm to work with, even when under pressure
  • Diplomatic, efficient and accurate, with excellent communication and listening skills
  • Discreet
