Job Title: Construction Static Equipment Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Reports to: Construction Manager
Project Name: NNPC-PHRC Nigeria
Job type / Contract: Temporary, 14 months.

Job Summary / Role Description

• He reports to the Construction Manager and will take responsibility for the coordination of Mechanical Construction activities of the heaters, boilers and reformers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect the assembly activities related to Reformer & Heaters such as structure steel, casing panels, piping coils, air preheater, hot ducts, stacks;
• Follow up all site erection activities such as the heater casing, structure, static Equipment (Boiler & steam drum), Rotating Equipment, pressure parts piping coils (different materials), Burners, Instrumentation, Refractory Insulation;
• He has direct responsibility on management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s) for related activities. He will ensure that their performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost, and he will coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from schedule or specifications under the guidance of Construction manager;
• He ensures the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities;
• He directly participates to the HSE activities at site as defined for his position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.

Knowledge & Qualifications

• Suitable University Degree

 Experience:

• At least five (5) year experience in a similar position in EPC/M petrochemical/refinery projects
• Experience in activities related to Jetty,Pipelines,Tanks

Special Requirements:

• The possession of a relevant level of management skills, as technique knowledge and proficiency is considered a plus.
