WhoGoHost was founded in 2007 by Opeyemi Awoyemi, then a student of Obafemi Awolowo University, to serve clients of his web design firm ennovateNIGERIA who also needed hosting for their websites. WhoGoHost was then simply a reseller that provided hosting services to customers, allowing them to pay in local currency. In 2010, Toba Obaniyi joined him as a partner to help grow the vision. WhoGoHost got incorporated in 2011 and the growth truly began. In 2012, Toba Obaniyi took over as the CEO of the company, building the company, with the help of a dedicated and talented team, to the size it is today.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: UI / UX Graphics Designer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for the design and implementation of all the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of all Whogohost’s digital assets.
• You will ensure that all elements of our online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.

Job Duties

• Create a design brief based on the information given by the internal team as well as research.
• Present ideas/solutions using design and amending designs after feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, images.
• Design high-quality components, UI mock-ups, and prototypes to illustrate process flow and functionality that are visually appealing while maintaining branding.
• Ability to complete end-to-end iterative design process - research, wireframing, mockups, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Modify designs to fit the changing market.
• Identify and troubleshoot user experience (UX) problems and opportunities on new and current projects.
• Ability to present and effectively communicate design ideas/concepts to stakeholders.
• Continuously deliver on your KPIs as well as communication timeframe on assigned tasks.
• Be a great team player by adequately contributing to the success of the team.
• Additional tasks as intermittently assigned.

Person Specification & Additional Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in a similar capacity
• Good understanding of Figma
• Understanding of key design principles
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Ability to accept and interpret criticism/feedback.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with people within and outside the team
• Excellent attention to details
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
