Job Title: IT Asset Management - Subject Matter Expert

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• They are seeking to hire highly skilled IT Asset Management, Subject Matter Experts (4) to join the team that seeks to maximize the value of IT equipment within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining processes, policies, standards, systems and measurements that help the organization to effectively manage assets
• Interface between stakeholders and IT operations team for all configuration management related activities
• Responsible for development for Configuration management plan, process, procedure and awareness of the process
• Accountable for overall management of configuration management database and its integrity
• Accountable for periodic auditing, validating & reporting of configuration management database
• IT asset portfolio (software and technology-related hardware) with regards to cost, control, risk, compliance, business performance objectives
• Ensuring quality control throughout the lifecycle of IT assets by developing and implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage them
• Managing and maintaining databases and records such as licenses, service agreements, and warranties for the software and hardware
• Ensuring compliance with vendor contracts by carrying out effective planning and monitoring
• Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software license to make sure they complied with vendor contracts in different software tools
• Ensure effective management of the CMDB and that the content contained is accurate
• Generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets and CIs and their status; also perform trend analyses
• Ensure process efficiency by implementing the key performance indicators; suggest improvements to the process continuously
• Design processes relating to software and hardware asset management, execute and enhance them
• Perform research on industry best practice and incorporate it with organizational practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or any IT related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years experience in IT Asset Management environment
• Strong knowledge of IT Service Management processes, ITIL Framework, ISO 55001:2014 asset management standards
• ITAM Certification (CHAMP, CITAM, ITIL).
