Ethan Hayford Consulting - Our client, a Fintech Organization based in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Android Developer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• You will design, build, document, and maintain quality, reusable and clean Android code for a secure payment solution.
• You will be involved in the development and maintenance of our Android app, ensuring the best possible experience for customers.
• You will design develop and ship new features/ products, based on customer requests and feedback, using state-of-the-art technologies.
• As part of the team, you will conduct regular code and peer reviews to ensure the quality requirements are met

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 3 years work experience.
• Developing applications with Android SDK and has expert working knowledge of Java.
• A portfolio of deployed apps on Google Play store.
• Experience with integrating 3rd party SDKs and SQLite Databases for Android
• Designing and/or implementing functional android mobile UI/UX, such as Material Design
• Familiar with building back-end support for Android applications
• Eternally curious and fast learning
• Works well in a team, but is self-motivated and can work independently.
• Good command of oral and written English language

Each of these will be considered a plus:

• Experience with agile software development
• DevOps, Scrum, and similar lean methodologies.
• Previous experience building a mobile payment or retail software applications
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS or other payment security standards
