Job Title: Sales Manager (Northern Region)

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Reports to: The Sales Manager will report directly to GM/ Sales Director.

Job Description

  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the Company’s sales, market share and customer experience strategies and goals across the Northern region of Nigeria.
  • Contribute towards developing sales strategies/techniques especially tailored to the northern market for attracting new customers.
  • Network and partner with building construction companies and other proposed clients across Northern Nigeria to create sales opportunities.
  • Manage, renew, review sales contracts as required to enable effective customer/supplier relations.
  • Develop and maintain relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively liaise with the Inventory Team in obtaining the real-time inventory position.
  • Drive the planning and implementation of annual in-house exhibitions and conferences within region, as a deliberate sales/marketing strategy.
  • Support team members in pitching for and closing clients
  • Prepare proposals and quotations for the provision of total design solutions, working with team members in preparing installation proposals.
  • Identify and approach potential clients, convert enquiries from potential clients to sales.
  • Manage or escalate as appropriate customer complaints.
  • Analyze customers’ needs and collect customers’ information to recommend products to improve sales.
  • Ensure clients are offered professional and quality service to increase sales.
  • Maintain comprehensive database information on all existing relationships and prospects in liaison with information systems, and financial control functions.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
  • Perform sales and marketing duties as directed by the Divisional head.

Reports to:

  • The Sales Manager will report directly to GM/ Sales Director.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration, Management, or related field.
  • MBA / Masters in Business related course is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years’ relevant work experience.
  • Proven Sales Track Record with high value transactions and High Networth Individuals (HNIs).
  • Proven Track Record of New Business Development & Leadership.
  • People Leadership & Performance Management.
