Responsibilities:
The candidate will be required to :
- Hhandle drafting, reviewing and negotiation of customer and vendor contracts, overview the company’s compliance program for pan-Africa and such other territories as are identified from time to time manage the company’s IP protection program, provide legal guidance, training and opinion to business, be abreast with the changes in law position and overview legal, regulatory and telecom / banking requirements support the corporate legal team in routine legal work of the company.
- Lliaison with authorities in the region and address legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the company’s leadership team with due diligence on special projects, new initiatives and mergers & acquisition opportunities on need basis specifically in Nigeria, while generally supporting the company’s growth in the Africa continent.
Requirements
- 6 – 8 years experience
- Functional Areas include: Legal, Regulatory, Intellectual Property, Compliance
