SKLD is an integrated corporate entity providing technology, educational and office supplies, branded product distribution, garment manufacturing and humanitarian aid procurement services through contracts, wholesale, retail, and online channels.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bus Driver

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• To contribute to the organization’s success through prompt & correct delivery of products to customers and driving services to the staff.

Job Responsibilities

• Obey traffic rules and use route navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages to customers on time.
• Decently carry out deliveries to delivery points.
• Ensure safe and accident-free driving.
• Transport organization’s merchandise
• Interact with customers in a professional manner.
• Ensure that vehicle is kept clean inside and outside at all times.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the delivery van and notify the manager of any issues.
• Report any electrical or mechanical faults, mishaps, accidents or damaged vehicles to the Supervisor.
• Ensure possession of the updated vehicle and driving-related documents.

Requirements

• Minimum of an SSCE.
• 2 years cognate experience as a bus driver.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, LASDRI and LASSRA.
• Clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Must be well mannered and respectful
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be ready to resume immediately.

Remuneration and Benefits

• N55,000 monthly.
• Leave Allowance
• HMO
• Pension.
