Job Title: Head of Regulatory and Compliance

Job Objectives
- To create and sustain effective relationships between the client organisation and the Government.
- To participate in policy formulation and implementation within the Client organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, or coordinate technical and marketing activities of the company to ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Offering advice about company policies, practices and systems
- Act as a link between the company and regulatory authorities (NERC), ensuring that customers are adequately metered and billed with the proper tariff in compliance with appropriate legislation.
- Regularly monitor changes in regulations, if any, and analyse implications on business operations.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical team to file for renewals or resolve regulatory issues.
- Guide team on process/product adherence to regulatory standards and advice to file for approvals to drive compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance with NERC regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in legal, Marketing or technical field
- An advanced degree, most often in a legal, Marketing or technical field.
- 10 year experience, 5 years management experience in similar roles.
- Broad technical, legal and business knowledge.
