Job Title: Head of Health, Safety and Environment - HSE

Job Purpose
- Responsible for providing HSE leadership and facilitating development of HSE Vision, Strategy and Management System for sustained HSE good performance.
Job Objectives:
- Formulating, Executing, supervising and coordinating office and field Safety programmes as well as ensuring HSE best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Draw up HSE programmes for the company and ensure implementation.
- Ensure the implementation of the HSE policy of the company.
- Train, educate and advise workers on safe system of work through concise job hazard analysis.
- Carry out new employees HSE Orientation.
- Ensure the certification of supplied or procured safety equipment to ensure compliance with ISO standard.
- Attend NERC HSE forums and brief Management on HSE regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering .
- PGD in safety Management
- Post Graduate Degree is an added advantage
- Minimum of 8 years increasingly responsible (Safety) experience
- ISPON or NEBOSH certification
