Afefeyeye Restaurant and Bar, a new restaurant located in Ikeja, Lagos State, is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bar Man

Location: Allen, Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Plan and present bar menu.
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Account for daily opening and closing of the stock.

Skills and Experience

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with a minimum of 3 years work experience.
• Previous bartending experience required in a midscale bar or lounge.
• Experience in handling Point of sale (POS) terminals and stock taking is compulsory
