Job Title: Route to Market (RTM) Implementation Executive

Job Description
  • Conduct pre-engagement activities with the RM/AM to assess the As-Is state and commence engagements with regards to the impending changes
  • Implementation of new routes in urban or rural area to reach 70/70
  • Ensure quality of the selected outlets, route efficiency and proper mapping
  • Co-ordinate with Area Manager coverage of the outlets
  • Ensure clear understanding by Field Team of the channel activation
  • Monitor and optimize the link between all category
  • Co-ordinate with Area & TM&D Team best practice & Issues
  • Implement the planned Change Management activities within Field Team
  • Implement the planned Communication & Engagement activities within distributors Field Team
  • Track and resolve change management risks, issues and actions with Implementation or escalate as required
  • Identify issues relating to the project’s performance and escalate to Area Sales Manager (AM) & Human Resources (HR) for resolution
  • Ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of change management and communication activities at Depot Level
  • Facilitate 2-way feedback process within the Depot
  • Prepare the depot management to take ownership of the NWOW post implementation
  • Complete a readiness assessment before handing over and including documentation of actions to be followed up by line management post implementation
  • Act as the ‘Eyes and Ears’ for the RTM deployment manager, engaging in informal and formal interactions to read the pulse of the employees, proactively identify issues and relay information and insights to line management and the project team for resolution.
  • Conduct market visit and provide feedback/point of improvement to AM/TMR team
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience in a reputable and progressive tobacco or similar FMCG company.
  • Route to Market experience
  • Customer Engagement, including Trade Investment
  • Solid field experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Negotiation and influencing
  • Ability to travel regularly
  • Computer literate
  • Oral and written English
