Requirements
Senior Lecturer (CONPCAS 6)
- Candidates should have PhD with six (6) years experience or Masters degree with nine (9) years experience.
In addition, candidates should have the following:
i.) Demonstrable ability to initiate and supervise research project
ii.) Two articles published in reputable journals or two meaningful chapters contribution in standard textbook
iii.) Four papers presented at an Academic conference
iv.) Evidence of Academic and Administrative leadership
Lecturer I (CONPCAS 5)
- Candidates should have a Doctorate degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognized institution with at least 3 years teaching/research experience or Master’s Degree with at least 7 years teaching/research experience.
In addition, candidates should have the following:
a.) Demonstrable ability to initiate and supervise research projects
b.) At least two conference/seminar papers
c.) At least one journal article accepted by publication
d.) Some evidence of administrative and community service
Lecturer II (CONPCAS 3)
- Candidates should have a Doctorate degree from a recognized institution with or a Master’s Degree with 5 years teaching/research experience.
In addition, candidates should have either of the following:
i.) Two seminar/conference papers
ii.) One journal article accepted for publication
Lecturer III (CONPCAS 2)
- Candidates should have a Master's degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution with NYSC and evidence of post secondary teaching experience.
Assistant Lecturer (CONPCAS 1)
- Candidates should have a good honours degree or equivalent in relevant field from a recognized institution plus evidence of NYSC and post secondary teaching qua
Library Department
Library II (CONPCAS 1)
- Candidates should base fist degree in library science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution plus LRCN and NLA
Assistant Chief Librarian (CONPCAS 8)
- Candidates should have Masters in Library Science (MLS), with 9 years cognate experience. Candidate should present evidence of evidence registration with LRCN and NLA.
In addition candidates should have the following:
i.) 3 journal Articles and 3 conference papers or
ii.) 3 meaningful chapter contribution in standard text book and 3 conference papers or
iii.) one standard textbook and 3 conference papers
iv.) Demonstrable ability to initiate and supervise applied research/project/exhibition
Works Department
- Candidates should be holders of a suitable relevant degree either in Engineering, Architecture, Building, Quantity Survey or urban and Regional Planning and registerable with the recognized professional bodies plus evidence of NYSC.
Director of Works (CONTEDISS 15)
- Candidates should be registered Engineer/Architect Builder or Quantity Surveyor and fully registered with appropriate professional bodies with at least 18 years cognate experience in a project/work maintenance, or master’s degree with 15 years cognate experience in his/her field.
Registry Department
Senior Assistant Registrar (Legal) (CONTEDISS 11)
- Candidates should posses degree in LLB end BL with at least 8 years post qualification cognate experience or relevant Masters degree with 3 years cognate experience
Administrative Officer II
- Candidates should have a good honours degree Arts or Social Sciences plus NYSC discharge certificate.
Administrative Officer I
- Candidates should have a good honours degree Arts or Social Science with at least 3 Years cognate experience or Masters Degree in a relevant field
Programme Analyst I (CONTEDISS 08)
- Candidates should be holders of good honours degree in computer science plus 3 years post qualification cognate experience or Masters Degree.
Programme Analyst II (CONTEDISS 07)
- Candidates should be heaters of good honours Degree in computer science plus evidence of completion of NYSC.
Higher Technical Officers/Higher Executive Officers (CONTEDISS 07)
- Candidates should be holders of HND in the relevant field or National Diploma plus at least 5 years cognate experience.
