Eden Solutions and Resources Limited - Our client, a Departmental store, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Retail Accountant

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate must be proactive and manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Your Mission

• Evaluating daily accounting activities and finding cost-saving methods
• Making journal entries in the ledger for accounts debited and credited
• Tallying cash in hand at the end of the day’s shift and planning for bank cash deposit
• Preparing balance sheet and income and loss statement at the end of the month
• Preparing financial statements and informing the Managing Director about the company’s financial status
• Handling preparation and filing of tax returns and compliance issues
• Compiling, analyzing, and presenting reports on financial information
• Making entries of daily business transactions in the book of accounts
• Managing accounts payable as per contract terms with vendors and suppliers
• Contributing to fixing the budget for the monthly purchase and office expense

Job Requirements

• A Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in retail accounting
• Excellent numerical skills
• Good analytical approach to work
• Organizational Skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer Knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Retail-Man, and any other accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail Oriented.

Expected Salary

• N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
