It is a major manufacturer and distributor company in the FMCG Distribution Sector for premium brands in the Health and Personal Care categories like Lebrace Diaper and Besense Sanitary Pads meeting household needs in a vastly diversified demography. 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Locations: Kebbi, Lagos and Sokoto
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Provides the team with adequate training, coaching and mentoring in order to develop their conceptual selling skills, and ensure development and proper career paths.
  • Organizes and staffs the Merchandising team with adequate resources and talent in order to achieve the desired levels of Organizational Excellence.
  • Develops strong account penetration to facilitate collaboration, achievement of desired business results and joint work.
  • Negotiates and manages customer trading terms (payment, logistics, pricing, funds) to achieve business targets.
  • Communicates internally any event taken by customer/competitors which can have an impact on the business in order to take the required action.
  • Manages assigned trade funds/assets efficiently within agreed guidelines in order to maximize the return from these funds and prevent misuse.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a BSc / HND.
  • Possess 4-5 years of sales experience two of which must have been in Wholesales, preferably in the FMCG distribution sector.
  • Experience selling to retailers, Wholesalers and Sub Distributors in the FMCG Sector is mandatory.
  • Must be Computer Literate.
  • The ability to use a hand-held sales device is an added. advantage.
  • Proficient in the use of Micro-Soft Excel
  • Must have good knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Interpersonal Relationship Skills.
  • Age: Between 25-40years old.
