Our Company NBC Ltd started operations in Nigeria in 1951. Based in the city of Lagos, we operate 13 bottling plants across the country. In addition, we channel products through 59 warehouses and distribution centers.

Job Title: Maintenance Controller

Job Details
  • Execute Annual, Quarterly, Weekly and daily Plans
  • Executive preventive, corrective, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance plans.
  • Work leveled to ensure no peaks and dips in activity.
  • Planned maintenance stoppages with production planner (co-ordinate maintenance down time with production times)
  • Ensure job cards are issued to specific technicians at specific times to conduct planned maintenance activities as per schedule.
  • Ensure work allocated matches the skills levels of the technicians to whom it is allocated.
  • Ensure stores are informed of spares, tools and materials required ahead of time.
  • Ensure periodic checks conducted on all maintenance activities.
  • Ensure standard engineering practices are developed, documented & implemented.
  • Ensure root-cause analysis are carried out on breakdowns and properly documented.
  • Plan and coordinate coaching for technicians where necessary.
  • Overtime or outside contractors authorized by section engineer
  • All work completed is captured on job card (planned and breakdown), stores are informed of spares, tools and materials required ahead of time.
  • Ensure job cards are checked for completion, signed off & captured on SAP
Requirement
Desired Candidate Profile
  • University Degree/ HND in Engineering
  • At least 5 years maintenance experience including supervision preferably in bottling industry.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Understanding of financial impact of decisions.

  • Ability to set standards for management performance. High integrity.
